Tattoo weekend just landed at the Jersey Shore

Villain Arts Tattoo Festival

Wildwood, NJ · Aug 7-9

Villain Arts brings its Tattoo Festival back to the Wildwoods Convention Center this Friday through Sunday, August 7-9, and the whole floor turns into three days of live ink and sideshow acts.

Live ink and sideshow acts

More than 20 artists will be tattooing on-site all weekend. Walk-ups are welcome, so you can leave with fresh work or just watch the needles move. There are daily contests with real hardware on the line, vendor booths stacked with art, jewelry, clothing, and gear, and Ink Master alum Cleen Rock One in the mix. Between sessions the stage keeps going - an aerial suspension crew, birds of prey, and contortionists doing things that make you wince and cheer.

First-timer or ten sleeves deep

The floor's for you. The swipe pics here are from past conventions we've shot - flash sheets pinned to the boards, portfolio books open on the tables, collectors comparing healed pieces. If you know, you know. It's some of the best people-watching in South Jersey all summer.
